A few weeks later we also ran into another Dollar store next to Safeway at the corner of Miller and Bollinger. Both of these stores are about double the size of a 7/11 store.
Around Thanksgiving-2003 the Dollar Club opened in nearby Campbell next to the D&J hobby shop on Campbell Ave. They claim to be 25,000 square feet. About the size of a small grocery store or a Wallgreens drug store.
