This is a page where I hope my friends can find each other and share some information about themselves. I grouped the friends more or less by where I would have first met them.
A similar section is planned for my family under the my family section. I have yet to figure out to put information about my mother side of the family on the site without giving away the kind of information that some identity theft crook could use. Think about it, what is the one question most places ask you as a question to prove who you are: What is your mothers maiden name? I might be a little paranoid but that little bit of information can be a key to a big mess. If you have an idea on how to work around this, then drop me an e-mail.
Feel free to send me updates on your self via e-mail (link below) or request that I add a name of a missing friend to the list. Those names listed in blue have additional information available by clicking on the name. If you would like your name removed from the list for whatever reason, let me know that also.
Provide update information
Find Tony's Friends by: I grew up in what was then west San Jose, California. About the time I was
in high school. That part of San Jose was annexed into the city of Cupertino.
So I guess you could say I grew up in both cities. Here are some of the
kids I grew up with.
Tony's old neighborhood
School Friends (Cupertino, Hyde)
Bethlehem, PA friends
Other Friends
The kids from Tony's old neighborhood
Naturally, many of the kids I grew up with could have been listed here also. I figured that most of the people that might look for me, or some else on the list would be from Cupertino High School(my class was '76) or maybe a few from Hyde Jr. High that moved before high school.
I spent a lot of time staying with my Aunt Hun and Uncle Paul in Bethlehem PA during the 70's. I was adopted as son #3 and the 4'th Snyder child. It seemed that I wintered at home in California and summered in PA. It got to be that I had a whole other life and set of friends on Pelham RD. I wish it would have been possible to have kept track of these folks or be able to travel back to Bethlehem more often.
Sorry about the spelling. I knew I would blow some of the names so bad I just put in the last Initial.
These are friends other then those I grew up with, went to school with or know from PA.
If you choose to provide an update I will add whatever information you provide. I do not have a form to fill out (yet) so please provide what you feel comfortable sharing.
You might want to tell people if you are married or not, if so, who did you marry. Do you have any kids, what are their names. Any pets? Where are you living. What do you do for work. Where do you work. If you want to share your address, phone number or e-mail address feel free to do so. It's up to you. Just think about what you would hope to find out about someone. You can even send a photo or two and I will add that to your information also.
I will encrypt your e-mail and other address or phone number information so that it can not be read by programs that troll the web looking for e-mail addresses to send spam. I hate spam and will do all I can to prevent this web site from being a source of your e-mail address. If you do a VIEW-SOURCE you will note that my e-mail address can not be read, yet when you click on the link to send me e-mail it still works. I will do the same for your address information automatically.
Another option I am willing to do is to say that your e-mail address is available. I can then provide a link to my e-mail. Then if someone wanted to send you e-mail. They would send me e-mail and I will forward it to you and e-mail back the other person that I had forwarded the e-mail to you. It would then be up to you to decide if you wanted to respond or not. I will keep your e-mail private on another computer.
You can send me an e-mail with the information you want to share. If you want you could use MS Word and add photos and format the document the way you like it. Either you or I could so a "save as - HTML" and I will use that as your page. Just attach it to the e-mail.
